A great way to bring in the New Year

Hello 2009. We spent New Years eve with family and friends. The little man made all the noise he could at midnight, banging a pots and pans. But after the clock struck midnight he was turned back into this very tired sleepy boy and he was sound asleep before 12:20.

Now the tree is down and so are the light packed tightly in boxes waiting for next year. The little man helped us pack up things up and he had to say and wave bye to it all as we put the boxes in storage.
We got about 2 inches of snow over night. The 8 that we got a few weeks ago was almost completely gone. I wonder what the little man is thinks about the snow. Why does it keep coming and going? Why do I have to wear gloves, a hat and a jacket? Thank you aunt Michelle for the amazing hat. He had fun today adding snow to where our snow man once stood.
I have been thinking about my goals for the new year for a few weeks now but I know that I will continue to keep adding to them as the year goes on.
Goals for 2009
1. Get healthy- both physically and spiritually. (I think everyone has this on there list in one form or another) I started off the new year felling like garbage but I am going to change all that. (it the year for change right)
2. Get the little man to sleep in his bed- Bed time in our house is a big battle but I would really like to change it. If you have any suggestions I am open to anything that not CIO.

3. Start a garden- I grew tomatoes last year but they did not do very well. This year I am going to use the garden space over at my Grandpas house along with the green house. I have never done anything like this before so also if you can help point me in the right direction that would be great.
4. Keep a cleaner house- I got to start off the new year with a clean bedroom, no laundry and all my dishes clean so I guess thats a start.

Well thats all I got for now. I hope that everyone had a great and safe new year.

We also took down our Christmas tree today...so sad...it was by far the best Christmas tree we have ever had (and the biggest).

Uhummmm....I'll have to think about my goals for the year...
Love you all!!
