number two

Well after 2 months of trying he got it. He knows that he needs to go number two in the potty!!! We have had three days of him saying/ signing potty and then running into the bathroom and going in the toilet. He is doing well with peeing on the potty also. He knows when he has to go but sometimes he will start to go in his pants and then remember he has to go on the potty and other times he tells me right after he goes. Maybe soon we will be done with diapers.

little monkey

The little man has turned into a little monkey. He just loves to be on my back now. When I am sitting on the ground he will come up from behind, wrap his arms around my neck and hold on with all his might. When he started doing this last month a light bulb came on inside my head saying "put him in the mei tai on your back." Once I tried it he loved it. Now it is the only way that I can vacuum. He loves it, I love it and we are all happy.

In my natural habitat (No make up, no shower), but happy with a kid on my back

Tons of trucks

"I see trucks"

On Saturday we went out to Spanaway to Sprinker to there Touch a Truck event. We decided that it would be fun to bring our niece along with us. We all had a blast.

There were so many different kinds of trucks, dump trucks, firetrucks, street sweepers and so many more. The kids were able to go inside and push buttons, pull levers and pretend that they were driving them.

The little lady was a little scared at first but then when she saw how much fun her cousin and the other kids were having she started to smile also.

One grumpy little lady and one happy little man

After seeing all the trucks we went over to the park and had a picnic. For our wedding we received a great picnic basket and this was a great opportunity to use it. After lunch the kids were able to run around and play. They had so much fun that both of then fell asleep on the way home.

It was a great event we will try to make it there again next year.

We did the fair

We decided to go to the fair opening day so we could get in for free. It was crazy to say the least. It took us over an hour to get there which is about 40 minutes longer than adverage. After paying $10 to park the $10 admission was free.

I was babysitting 'Gigi' (what the little man calls her) so I borrowed a friend double stroller. It took a little getting use to but we were off and rolling. The first stop was the animals. I dont think that the little mans eyes could have gotten any bigger when he saw and heard all the animals in the barns.

Than it was lunch time. I could not leave the fair without eating a Krusty Pup. The little man and Gigi enjoyed them also. We found a nice cool spot under a 'Circus' tent to eat. While we were eating the clowns decided to start warming up.

Enjoying lunch under the big top

After lunch is was time to go look and all the different things the fair has to offer but the little man had other plans. He had decided that he had had enough in the stroller. So I found a nice grassy spot for him to run around in. When I looked down at the clock and noticed that it was almost two we should be getting home for a nap.

Just eating some cotton candy

Maybe next year when we 'Do the Puyalup' we will remember that it is crazy on opening day and stay clear or head there real early.
