Playing with water

Now that the weather is finally getting nice the little man has learned that playing with water is fun. He has his own little swimming pool but a few nights ago since Daddy was swimming in the big pool little man got to go in also. He does not mind it when he is being held but he did not like the floaty toy.

He has also found that the watering can is a fun toy. He likes it with or without water in it. He sees me water the tomato plants every day and decided he was going to also.

I dont know why my tomatoes are not growing. I dont think that we will get any tomatoes from these plants but the little man is enjoying them.

It is hard to say goodbye

Today I had a friend move away. Not only did one of my friends move but so did one of the little mans. Before they left we were able to walk down to the park and let the boys play together. It was so cute to see them both walking and chasing each other. It has been so much fun to have had the ability to watched them grow up this year together. It was great because they are only 2 months apart. I was so nice to have a friend close by that I was able to go on walks with and talk about life with. Even though they will be in California in the sunshine getting all tan and everything they will still be missed.

Little Man with Action Man

This afternoon when my hubby got off of work the boys went swimming. The pool was about 76 and it was about 80 outside. I was only planning on letting the little man get his feet wet with me but when he saw Dad in the water he wanted to join him. After they were dry and we had some dinner we all got into the green beast and drove down to get a milkshake. This was the little mans first ride in his dads hot road.

My hubby went and got the exhaust fixes this week so that it was not so loud and stinky. It was so nice to be able to go out as a family in the car. The sun is shining, the hot road is out, it must be summer.

I was tagged

My sister tagged me. Since the little man is sleeping here goes.
1. What I was doing 10 years ago?
Well I was almost 12 and I was just finishing up my last year of Elementary school. I had the best 6th grade teacher (Mr. McCrummen). I was so excited to be going to Jr. High school. I was really into The Beatles. I wear bell bottoms. My hair was to the middle of my back. I thought I was a hippy, but I really had no idea what being a hippy was all about.
2. What 5 things are on my to-do list for today (not in any particular order)
Find a new doctor for the little man
Go for a walk to the park
Clean the bathrooms
Vacuum/ Sweep
Do a load of laundry
(The only thing I will most likely get done is going to the park. All the other items on the list can wait but my little man cant.)
3. What snacks do I enjoy?
I have been snacking on a lot of crackers lately because that is what the little man likes to eat. Pretzels, graham, animal, and saltines to name a few.
4. What would I do if I was a billionaire?
I would have to hide the money before my hubby spent it because he would buy a bunch of cars we dont need. We would buy some property near buy and pay someone to build a house on it. I would teach my hubby how to save. We would give to our churches building fund. It would be so nice to know that I would not have to worry that me not working is making it so my Hubby has to work more hours. Maybe I would let my hubby buy a few cars.
5. Where have I lived?
I was born in Tacoma, WA. Lived in Twin lakes, WA- El Paso, TX- Huntsville, AL- Federal way, WA- And I now live in Milton, WA. I dont think I could leave Washington. I guess I like the rain.

Sunday afternoon

Since the weather was half way decent on Sunday we pulled the BBQ out for lunch. I mean the little man and Daddy pulled it out.
While Dad got the BBQ going the little man decided to show off his walking skills while I had the camera out.
He is now walking about 80% of the time. I would not be surprised if by the end of the week he is walking all the time. Maybe crawling a little bit to drive his cars and monster trucks. My little man is growing up and soon he will be walking circles around me.
