Just waiting

I find myself say that often.
...at the grocery store.
...at the mall.
...to people I hardly know.
...to close friends and family.

Pretty much everywhere I go and everyone that I talk to.

The little man asks me at least everyday when the little lady is coming and all I can say is
... just waiting.

He will lift up my shirt and talk into my bellybutton. "Come out I want to see you." I almost want to cry and than he gives her a kiss and than the tears start to flow.

I hope that the love that he is showing to his sister stays. One can only hope.

... her diapers are waiting

... her bed is waiting.

... her clothes are waiting.

... her car seat is waiting.

... her brother and family are waiting.

Before and after- wood stove

Before

During

After

Our old wood stove had worked just fine for us over the past five years but it was getting in need for some major TLC. So with some help from the people over at Puget Sound Clean Air we were able to get a new stove for just a few dollars out of our pocket.
We have not gotten a chance to use it but it sure is pretty.
Happy burning.

PB and J party

After reading this post yesterday morning I was inspired. (I think that I need to stop reading blogs in the morning unless I want to be inspired) On this post was this recipes that I just had to try.

The little man helped me and when they came out of the oven he thought that they looked like cupcakes so he wanted to sing me happy birthday.

So we snag, blew out some pretend candles and enjoyed our muffins.

Learning to play baseball

Since the weather was so nice this morning we took a little trip down to the ball field to play a little baseball.
Before we made it down there the little man had to make sure that he had all of his gear. Hat, check. Baseball coat, check.

Glove, bat, balls, sunglasses, check, check, check, check.

He was all set and ready to play ball.

After many many pitches and many many swings of the bat the little man was ready to try his hand at pitching. Well, or should I of said hands. He is still a little undecided on what hand his is going to use. Whatever one he choose is fine with me.

Yes it is a glove for his right hand on his left hand. I guess my mom and I are the wrong people to buy baseball gloves. When I brought this glove home a few weeks ago the first thing the hubby said was why did did I buy him a left handed glove? And all I could say I did not notice. Well it might come in handy (sorry about the pun).

Our bags are packed, we are ready to go

That is our theme song for today.

The hubby left this morning for a short trip down to Texas.

So late into the night last night we were doing some last minute packing and getting all ready for his trip. It got me thinking, 'I should really pack a hospital bag.' So today after saying all of our good byes and wishes of good luck I packed my bag.

Now I can almost say that I am ready for this baby to come, except she cant make an appearance until after Saturday when the hubby is home safe and sound.
